Slow-mo in EVERY action scene gets extremely annoying
And this is why anime feels so SLOW overall. Because they literally slow down every action move.
There’s no dynamic, no fast pace, no fast movements in any scene — there’s just a boring and overused slow-mo.
I don’t remember this much slow-mo even in early Naruto tbh.
And we’re cooked with any fight. Because every fight will be slow and static. Every time there be need for fast action, they’ll slow it down.
And it’s so frustrating because manga had much more dynamic and sometimes even dramatic frames, and you could FEEL that. And anime is just so incredibly slow, static, and boring.
Heisuke finding out about Sakamoto and shooting him — yeah, I didn’t feel anything. Slow-mo after slow-mo after slow-mo. Manga built tension around this moment, and anime is just… I can’t.
