My SaaS made $1400 in last 7 days!

I run a SaaS named Youform, which is an affordable Typeform alternative, and I made $1400 revenue in the last 7 days alone.

Sorry for the clickbait-y title, though. I am tired of all those "I made $X in 4 days of launch after learning to code for 2 weeks" posts. Reddit is filled with them these days.

Even though the title is real, the story isn't just that it is made in only 7 days.

I have been on this full-time for almost a year now. Prior to that, I was developing the platform for about 10 months (while freelancing) before I saw even a single dollar come in. Not only that, I created more than 5 products before Youform, and none saw any major success.

So, when I see all those "quick" money-making posts, I know something is wrong. I also thought about how disappointed I would feel if I were starting today and only had $100 MRR after months of hard work, while someone else was making $1000 in just the first day of launch. Hence I thought of writing this.

So if you are running a SaaS and think that you are not good enough to run it because someone else is making money quickly with their OpenAI wrapper, remember that either they are:

  1. Selling a course
  2. Spending money on ads to get that revenue
  3. or lying

Remember it takes time, and everyone is working in their own "timezone." Keep grinding and have patience for the sun to rise in your "timezone." :)
