Falco Help

Im at a loss at what to do against a good falco. I main c.falcon and IK its not a great matchup but it still has to be winnable. First issue is the lasers, I dont sheild bc people on this subreddit told me thats what the falco wants so I try to powersheild and if I fail Im just wide open. If I try to dashdance to bait something they just interupt me with lasers then combo me after a dair. The next issue is spotdodge spam. These slippi players after I try to techchase, which I am decent at, can just spam their fast af spotdodge and then shine me and boom even with good di that I learned from people from here yesterday, I'm still in a disatvantage state. Falcos uptilt also beats out most of my arieals and my grab If i dont time it perfectly. I just don't know how to approach or defend myself against this unholy character, any tips?
