Does anyone else let their academic advisor choose their courses for the next term?

I’m one year into my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and so far, I’ve let my academic advisor pick my courses each term. The classes I’ve completed have all been general education, business core, and courses related to my major and concentration. I’m curious—does anyone else take this approach, or do you prefer to choose your own courses? Have you found one method to be better than the other?
