To the Y6s in RI

I'm a 16F Y5 student in RI rn & i have been overwhelmed by the numerous programmes & opportunities offered by RI (it shd be a good thing ig). I want to build my portfolio by joining some of them, but i am not so sure which ones to join. There's SAO which i'm pretty interested in, but it doesnt rlly align to the major i'm pursuing in the future. There's NOI but i have no idea how to use programming softwares. I did intend to join RA but decided not to as i'm just worried that their researches etc may clash with my cca trainings (i'm a dsa student so my teacher-in-charge expects full-time commitment to my cca)

Fyi i am planning to take a major in the field of engineering (or IT if possible since it's very competitive). Math & physics are my stronger subjects. Currently, i have no bg in computing, programming or anything that's related to informatics.

So can anyone, especially those who are inclined towards maths & physics advise me what other programmes & opportunities in RI that would aid in my portfolio for the major i'm pursuing? I'd love to join olympiads too
