Struggling to understand how to get relevant backlinks for my video production company

I've been DMed quite a few times by people pitching their backlink/guest post services, where I pay £50-£100 for backlinks to sites, but I'm struggling to understand if what they're offering will be beneficial for my site.

They are just blog sites that have a high domain rating (50-70) but it just seems scammy to me.

At the moment, my website's authority is pretty poor, and I will post my GSC report in the comments.

I'm genuinely stuck on what to do, as currently I don't rank very well.
