tips to help me get in character for cosplaying as foundation security?

im cosplaying as foundation security at my local con. but im having a trouble roleplaying as my character. pls give me tips so i can get in character instead of goofing around the con. what do i need to do and how to practice it? thx (sorry for bad english)

also im cosplaying as Zeta-9 as well if you have any tips for that
