Boot Polish for brtc

Hello, I have some questions about the dark tan boot polish needed for brtc (and yes I have already searched in this sub Reddit!)

For dark tan polish, the most mentioned are Kiwi, Saphir or Leder-Glos. So please could anyone help answer... 1.Kiwi apparently can give a reddish tinge. Does this matter? Do lots of people use it anyway?

1. Might be a stupid question, but the kit list says not parade gloss. The Saphir Pâte du Luxe (Dark brown) and Leder-Glos (military brown) have a description of extra gloss formula. Does this mean parade gloss?
