non-native english speakers, which popular word or phrase in romance tripped you up at first?

inspired by the “bottomed out” post where someone said “blow a raspberry” was totally confusing at first, which is totally understandable lmao

honestly feels like native english speakers would feel the same about some answers cause “bottomed out” in the context it’s used in romance used to confuse me (and still doesn’t sound natural to me for some reason).
