Request: Knotting without Omegaverse (for a beginner)

Hi all! I just finished Bride by Ali Hazelwood and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the knotting, fated mates, scent marking etc aspects 🥵 However I’ve come across Omegaverse stuff before in fan fic and it’s not for me, and in searching around it seems that it often crops up.

I’d love to read more in paranormal romance with similar themes sans Omega/hierarchy stuff - please suggest any for a newbie to the concept!
