Took me 5 months to get from diamond 2 to champ 3 solo queue for the majority of the time and can confidently say that having a teammate that matches your skill is the best way to rank up. For a good while I was just sitting in champ 1 and finally queued up with someone then ranked up easily, went back to solo queueing and sat champ 2 for a bit then once again found another player to queue with and got champ 3 and now I can sit in high champ 3 comfortably. Basically what I’m saying is that, this graph is proof that solo Q teammates hold you back and queueing with someone your skill can help you reach full potential.
I am still yet to reach full potential as I’m back to solo queueing again 😭but once I find another player to queue with then I should be gc in no time
