Possible scam

So on rl garage i organised a trade with this guy, and through discord he sends a link to his "epic profile" where i have to log in and put my data, also i find it weird how he refuses to just add me instead, anyway i noticed that the website is epicgame.com and not epicgames.com idk if its a different website still owned by epic games and it's legit, but i find it really weird, idk if anyone knows anything please let me know
