How do you feel about the weather?

This may be a fairly long post, but how do you feel about the weather year-round? Do you enjoy all four seasons? Here is my experience. I know that it is cold for several months, but I think pleasant weather in the 60's or 70's during the day lasts longer up north. I currently live in central Florida, and I used to live temporarily in Rochester for college. I recall feeling that the weather was very pleasant even in late summer in August and September (excluding the hot days above 80F and the lack of AC in my dorm). Five years ago, I remember that when I arrived in August for my final semester of college in Rochester, the weather in the day was a relatively colder 69F. I waited in the shade for my Uber to get to my dorm wearing a coat, and in comparison with central Florida, the weather was so much better.

I know the summers there can be very hot in the mid to uppers 80's or more during the day, but I've checked the weather history and during the entirety of summer, there is a chance for pleasant days in summer with highs in the low to mid 70's. Meanwhile, in central Florida, from my experience the temperature rarely goes below 73F(with average lows of 76F) from the entirety of June to September. I know that there are hot days in Rochester, but at least there is a chance for temperatures cooler than 70F from June to September. There is no relief(or almost no relief) from the summer heat in central Florida outside, and I didn't want to come here but I came here to attend a cheaper university.

However, I've seen people describe the winters up north as gray and cloudy, I do recall one time in Rochester, that in late November and December, it was constantly cloudy and freezing cold, and I was wondering how 80F feels like outside. It was a bit saddening, but it's not to say that the sun does not appear in winter because I've experienced several sunny days in winter over there. I do recall not liking the muddy ground when the snow melted, the danger of icicles at times, and ice on the ground. However, I guess the rest of the year is pleasant, because there are more temperate days in the 50's-70's in Rochester than in winter in central Florida. In central Florida, days above 80F Fahrenheit can happen at any time of the year, and days with highs in the 50's are not very common. How do you feel about the weather in Rochester?
