Buh Bye Model 3 - Not a shred of regret
You know what I love most about this machine? Besides being the most finely crafted vehicle I've ever owned? It's not that it's crazy quiet compared to the Tesla, which it is, or the gorgeous styling and intuitive user interface. What I love most is that my truck doesn't yell at me to look at the road every time I move my eyes to the screen to change the audio settings while on autodrive. I hated being continually monitored for attentiveness by that Tesla - not because I wanted to be unsafe, so keep your comments to yourself about my motives. Teslas routinely misinterpret normal multitasking as unacceptable attentiveness diversions from making sure autopilot doesn't kill me or someone else. Oh and speaking of autodrive, so far Rivian hasn't made promises it can't keep or scared the sh!t out of me with its autonomous driving tech. I'll never buy another Tesla. Another Rivian, however? You bet. Anyone else with the same emotional response after switching?
