2022 demo quad or 2024 dual?!

Basically looking to buy a R1T, reserved, and now there are two options:

2022 R1T quad motor, large pack new demo 2024 R1T dual motor, standard pack

Same price for both. I do road trips so the battery matters. I wanted a performance dual motor, I think quad is overkill but would I be missing out with a dual motor?
