What mods are terrible on performance but are also are terribly fun?

Curious about other people's thoughts on this, Theres a lot of Rimworld mods out there, And as modders a lot of us are worried about our games performance. I totally understand that and yet I don't see anybody ever talking about mods that are "worth the performance hit" I've seen plenty of lists out there of mods that you shouldn't mess with because they can be game-breaking or cause your game to run at a snail's pace- but for all of you out there? Are there any mods that you just can't live without even if it makes things run slower for you?
