Looking for the best semi-hollow with Bigsby in the $1,000 range ( club King?

I'm Looking for the best semi-hollow with Bigsby in the $1,000 range.I was originally going to get a Gretch or a guild but I was told by a couple people that the reverend guitars like the club King are built with specs that are much higher than the price tag. Does anyone have any experience or believe that to be true? Any ideas if that would be one of the top choices in terms of getting the most out of my money?
