Why do Physician's Assistants claim they do medical school in a shorter amount of time?

Why do our assistants always perpetuate the lie of "we do in 2 years what they do in a 4 years"? Why is it always some variation of some misleading bullshit that makes them sound more efficient?

Is it not more accurate for them to say it takes them 2 years to do what we cover in our first 6 months of medical school?

Or is that too much of a embarrassing mouthful?
