Getting gypped seller Jaime

Long story short, i ordered a Bottega Andiamo Bag from Jaime (who has a Fb group called GuiltLux) for $640 + $75 (shipping China-US) + $20 (domestic shipping from her to me) = $735 total.

This price is already ridiculous because Jing Factory costs like $350 if I buy from a Trusted Seller. The reason I went with her is because I saw a review of her bag on here said her leather is better than Jing. I also justified paying double for her “final quality check” that she conduct before shipping to me (hence 2 shipping fee).

2 weeks after I’ve approved the factory pics, she told me that my bag, along with other stuffs she ordered, have been seized by custom. At first she said she can order me a new bag and ship straight to my house, but later told me that I have to pay her extra $225 to do so to “be fair”, because she “ONLY profitted $95” from that bag and now she has to ordered me a new one, else “why would she order me a new one” 😅 I honestly was shook.

First of all, is $95 profit PER ITEM is “not making ANY money” because I honestly don’t think profiting that much is even normal? 😅😅 She told me if I’ve paid $1070 for the bag itself (instead of $650) then she would have had the money to order me a new one. From my understanding, her regular margin should have been literally $520 PER ITEM??!! Please tell me this is not normal because I would rather buy real one than paying $1200 for a fake one one at this point 😅😅

Second of all, isn’t the service she’s providing means she assume all the risk for me and the surcharge ($95) I paid is for the risk that she’s taking? If an item is lost on the way to my house, it is more understandable that it’s my responsibility to take, but the bag along with other people’s items in HER shipment did not even made it to her house, and she is making me pay because her shipment get lost. I literally had to pay 2 times the shipping (from China to her house + from her house to mine). I just cannot wrap my head around this matter.

I am honestly in disbelief 😅😅 I’ve ordered reps from many trusted sellers in China and even UK before but never encountered this ridiculous situation.

Anyways, I’ve moved on, she only gave me $350 refund, so I lost $385 for nothing lol. I wrote this review so that other ones can beware, because I did some research about her here on reddit before buying the bag but only couple reviews. Beware of the 100% surcharge and risk of loosing more of your money while dealing with this sellers
