Kitchen Remodel: Before & After

Our Kitchen Remodel:

Posting to give the community an idea how much a kitchen remodel costs.

We are touching up some paint now so we removed the shelf in the corner garage

Total Cost: $95,000

• Cabinets (w/ Install): 56K
  • Most of our cabinets are speciality (e.g., pullouts, spice drawers, cutting board etc)
• Countertops: $7.5K
• Appliances: $11K
• Electric $6K
• Flooring: $4K
• Misc (Demo, Framing, HVAC, Window, Hardware, Tile, Sinks, etc): ~$10K

Im not including the cost related to moving the laundry room upstairs

Considerations

• We debated on adding cabinets on the stool side of the island but opted against it because A) it would have been another 12K and B) we didn't want the area behind the stools to be too narrow.
• We wanted to expand the window size but didnt feel too comfortable messing with the external framing.
