Showdowns on PS are unplayable

The PVP has always been bad but christ this is the worst pvp in maybe any major game. Tonic use means people survive 3 shotgun slugs at close range. Insane perks that allow you to survive headshots. I'm level 150 and I think I'm experienced but there is no "getting good". It's just not a fun time.
