Izuru Kira appreciation post!

The game is out, and I've already tried several characters: Mayuri, Komamura, Nnoitra, Hisagi, Starrk, and even Yamamoto. However, since many weren't impressed by Kira, I tried him first, and I have to admit he's surprisingly fun if you know what to do with him.

Kira isn't the strongest character, and he's an actual 2-star character (for some reason, the ease of using several characters is different compared to the first information, so Mayuri is 2-stars, Starrk is 1-stars, Nnoitra is 3-stars, etc.). However, if you learn to lure the enemy with his signature technique and slide at the right time, you can do some good combo and boost Wabisuke. What I've learned from the info is that you have to accumulate the LV and then strike the enemy with one of his Special Moves, especially Jujokenmai (if you strike a lot, you can cast it in combo with Bakudo 61 and overwhelm the enemy's speed). This allows Kira to perform a stronger Kikon and hold the enemy at his (un)mercy.

I still have a lot to learn, but from now on, knowing as many characters as possible can be an interesting approach to confronting the enemy. For example, I fought Kenpachi with Mayuri. Kenpachi can overwhelm Mayuri offensively, but Mayuri's poison and Special Moves can turn the tide of the battle in his favor, especially when you keep your distance from him.

Overall, the gameplay is simple yet deep. Also, it's fun to take your time to understand the character and the enemy!

Is there a character you want to appreciate from your early insight into the game? Or any particular matchup?
