Power profile

So i just got my egpu dock from Aoostar. Setup was a little wonky, but I think i figured it out. My question is about the cpu. Should I keep my ally on my manual 25 watt profile while docked to the egpu or lower it? Also would performance be better only displaying to my external or will that not matter? Any optimization tips for best possible performance would be appreciated!
