Master Chief Collection: Offline Mode

Can anyone confirm whether these campaigns work offline? I have a flight soon. (Using gamepass PC)

I get the error message: One or more players do not have the entitlement to play this.

I can confirm that it works when I am connected to WiFi (all games and DLCs downloaded and installed).

Steps taken: I can confirm my device is set to offline mode (both in Xbox store and Windows). With WiFi on, I start the game and run it until it signs in and gets to the gameplay. I then exit the game, turn WiFi off to test, reload the game, upon which I get the error after trying to load the campaign.

Other games on gamepass work offline. Can anyone confirm if it's just that MCC can't do this? Has anyone played MCC offline?
