I can’t help it …
Just a comment … I joined Reddit a few months ago … joined some subs, but I daily see posts from subs I don’t belong to.
I am a boomer, born and raised last century … and have always loved animals … basically anything furry (I truly don’t like spiders … yet I work with fibres and weave … but the bigger ones, I would be ok with … aka tarantulas … because they have ‘fur’).
Always we had dogs … and I loved the cattle and horses at granparents’/cousins’ farms … but for the past 14 years I’ve lived with cats (easier than dogs in an apartment).
I just have to tell you that I so much love your rats!
Friends have had Guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits, but I never really thought I would enjoy one as a pet.
But rats totally would be my buds. Of course, I couldn’t bring them into my family now, with my 2 cats, but in another life I would!
Funny, as I write this I’m remembering a friend who rehomed a white rat that had been part of her university science lab and had finished its work there… forgot about that! …
Just want to thank you for your shares … I love the little guys! (My cats likely would, too … in a different way!)
