DRIP Enrolment Question

Hi everyone,

Relatively new investor here and starting to invest in dividend stocks. I don’t think I own enough of any single stock to earn enough in dividends to DRIP just yet, but I am getting close on a few positions.

Am I still able to complete and submit the DRIP Enrolment form to QT before I have any eligible positions to DRIP? And once I do own enough shares to be able to DRIP, will it automatically do so if the form has been submitted? I would be indicating on the form that I plan to ‘DRIP all eligible positions’ rather than selecting individual stocks.
