SPC w/ AXL Cummerbund attachment confusion

I'm moving from an LBT 6094 which was too big for me. Thanks to this sub I reassessed my plate size and after a months of reading posts and comments here I decided to go SPC.

I'm having issues figuring out the best way to attach the cummerbund. This works but it still pokes out a bit when attached in the front. Anyone that wears a small with this set up have any tips?
