I feel so scammed

Yesterday I bought 1500 diamonds with some additional boosters and infinite lives, which I didn't really care about, I just needed the diamonds for extra moves because I got stuck on a level and I was frustrated. It was very cheap, like $2. But then I found out it had somehow taken away the option to watch ads for those 2 extra moves after failing a level. I've already spent all the diamonds and it's still not there. I relied heavily on that, since the levels have become almost impossible to beat without those two extra moves. I feel so scammed and frustrated. Does anyone know anything about this? Why did it disappear? :(
