Understanding the Odds

Question re: the odds on Prizepicks. As an experiment I chose 3 players, initiated a bet that they would score UNDER the bar, and looked at what I would win with either a Flex or Power Play. Then, I looked at what would happen if I chose the exact same 3 players but to score OVER instead of UNDER. I suspected the odds to change (their past stats all indicated a likelihood of performing UNDER.) But the stats did not change - they were the same regardless of betting under or over. Made me wonder how they make money then, if either bet has an equal chance of winning. Also made me wonder why I do so much losing. Any answers out there? Thank you!
