PSA for Veteran Pokémon Sleep Players.
I feel it is important for any Veterans of Pokémon Sleep to keep in mind that Pokémon games always have a higher priority to cater to new/returning players more than active players, especially for their mobile games. For this reason, events are likely to keep happening on Greengrass Isle. Trust me when I say, I completely understand your fatigue with this island, I would like events to be centered around Taupe Hollow for a change as well. But the reality is that Pokémon Sleep, like any ongoing game or service, must balance between catering to the established player base and enticing newcomers based on what their data tell them, not about what we feel.
In any online game I've played I've learned to put my expectations to 0 when it comes down to the devs listening. So far the Pokémon Sleep devs have exceeded our expectations greatly but I don't think it's particularly wise to start having expectations. The best example of Pokémon Sleep devs slow-rolling everything is that the Level Cap was increased to 55 instead of 60 and the dev team changing things around because people were "progressing too fast" which I feel echoes my initial point of the type of player Pokémon Sleep is catering to primarily.
We can mostly hope that we will see variety and pray that long-time Pokémon Sleep players are being considered in the event decision-making. Still, realistically speaking we should probably expect everything to be on Greengrass Isle and just be happy when it's not and I think it'll be invaluable to lower the expectations as much as possible in regards to keeping our "sanity" over a sleep app game.
Also, for those of you worried about maxing out on Area Bonus, you can still buy the EZ Ticket for free for 100 sleep points in the shop and on Sunday what you could do is take an "8-hour nap" *wink wink* and move the island you want to increase the Area Bonus of.
