Why hasnt nintendo created a remake of emerald?! Or leafgreen/ fire red?! Crazy missed opportunity im sure they know it would sell massively

It was my first pokemon game i purchased, immediately fell in love as a 10 year old. Back in 2005. I love everything about first gen pokemon including kanto region. The game is pure nostalgia. The music and soundtracks. Please please bring these gems back. Im sure nintendo is aware why dont they excecute obviously they are aware of the immense sales potential.
