Cannot connect to the PC.
Hi.
I bought a new phone and wanted to retire my Poco F1.
In the past I used to quite a few times use that phone pretty much like a USB stick, it never gave me any problems.
So now I also wanted to just plug it to the PC, copy my files over (some are too big to bother with cloud, and also I wanted to remove some just on a computer, it's just easier) and then copy it onto the new phone.
But for some reason Poco will not connect! It starts charging, but it won't let me choose what type of connection it should be, whether file transfer or another. I tried changing these settings in developer options and still nothing. The computer doesn't seem to notice anything is being plugged to it at all, nor is the phone react to being plugged to anything, it behaves as if it was just a charger.
I tried 2 different cables and both work with my new phone, so they're not the problem. Tried different USB ports on the PC. And I'm running out of ideas...
I really hope it's not that the USB port is somehow damaged on the phone. Any ideas what I can do to test this possibility? Without trying to use another computer... Is there something maybe about some MIUI update that has some new feature I do not know of that controls this and I can't find it?
