Improved use at airports/airplanes since June update?

I'm going on vacation later this month and normally wouldn't consider bringing this, but I'm curious if any travelers have used this in airports or on airplanes since the recent update? It's only a four hour flight so I COULD leave it behind, but I'm curious about the potential.

I'll easily pass if the majority thinks it's a no-go.
