Seeding at Nationals?

Does anyone know why they don’t place the seeds for Nationals in the standard 64 draw format?

For example, in the round of 16, the 1 seed is playing the 15 seed. 3 seed is playing 16 seed, 2 v 13, etc. Do they randomize the draw to a certain extent?

I ask bc it’s kind of odd the 3 seed will have to play the 1 seed in the semis. If you’re Regalazar and you’ve dominated all season, shouldn’t you be rewarded with a SF matchup against the 4 seed?
