Chimney

Hi, it’s me again. (I’ve been making so many posts asking for help. lol, sorry about that)

I’ve recently become decent at skimming but now I want to the and fix up the chimney that we cut out. I tried some stuff with bonding but didn’t work out too well as you can see since it wouldn’t stick.

Can anyone tell me how to best do this? We’re not going to use it for a log fire so it doesn’t need to be heat resistent. It’s purely for aesthetic reasons and we’ll place an electric heater in it.

Advice on products to cover the brick would be appreciated. I intend to skim it all afterwards with multi finish
