Surface water runoff due to new build
A proposed 2 dwelling site on a hill runs onto an opposing neighbours lane. Circa 2 acres. The surface water naturally gets soaked up by the field at the moment and minimum falls onto the neighbours lane at the bottom of the field/proposed site. 2 houses are in planning now on this site, at least half of the field in total will now be hard standing as opposed to field/grass. Is there a planning issue here in that this will likely cause flooding to the neighbours lane? And should be considered by the architect / local planning?
