Red pandas don't register climbing

the red pandas in my zoo keep glitchingglitchibg out and think there is no area for them to climb even though there is plenty and they had no problems climbing before. Its really annyoing since thier welfare goes down enough to attract protestors and I don't know how to fix this.
any ideas or tips?
