Piracy (music software) on a macbook - DAWs, VSTs and other creative programs. How difficult is it?

Hey everyone, I am a producer who has been using his PC for the past seven years. Recently, I got some great offers to level up my game, but to do this, I need to be mobile - I need a laptop. After some research, I've concluded that a MacBook would be my best bet for music production. There are options to keep using Windows, but the internet makes me think that a MacBook would be the correct choice.

So far, I've only been on Windows, and piracy here is easy. However, it seems to be really difficult on a MacBook. I've barely found any info on it. It would be appreciated if someone could point me in a direction to start learning about everything needed to make this work. Any help is appreciated!

Edit - Any suggestions for good windows laptops are also welcome.
