Touch up for deceased father-in-law

Hey everyone! My father-in-law passed away recently and this is one of the rare pictures with him smiling this brightly, but it's not amazing quality. Would be amazing if someone would be so kind to - remove the date/time watermark - remove the persons to the left and in the background - brighten him up a bit / make the background a little darker, depending on what works best - maybe do some sharpening / colour adjustment to make it look nice and natural
