If he can use the police to mobilize and detain an ex-President by imposing his status as the Commander-in-Chief, What is stopping him from starting to persecute other members of opposing parties from any office?

All the while, PTV Ch4 is exclusively showing news about his "achievements" and "honors" with clear TV signal, and not even a mention of the Duterte. Meanwhile every other local channels that have been discussing the capture of Duterte is randomly losing signal or get choppy, with the exception of GMA channels, when such is the topic. Why is that?
