I accidentally trained my cat to hate my alarm clock… now mornings are interesting

So, a few weeks ago, I started snoozing my alarm by saying ‘Noooooo!’ really dramatically every morning. My cat, who was peacefully sleeping next to me, apparently took this as a sign that the alarm is the enemy. Fast forward to today: the alarm goes off, and before I can even react, my cat LEAPS across the room, slaps my phone off the nightstand, and hisses at it like it owes her rent.

I’ve effectively outsourced my snooze button to my cat. But now I’m terrified I’ve unleashed a furry anti-alarm vigilante who might eventually evolve into smashing clocks altogether.

Anyone else accidentally teach their pets something weird? Or is my cat just an extra spicy level of petty?”
