First PC Build - Can't screw in motherboard to the case

Hi everyone, I have just bought all the components for my PC but as it's my first time putting one together, I'm a bit lost. I can't seem to screw in my motherboard to my case. All the parts are compatible. The screws just won't tighten. I've got 2 types of screws left ATM, one looks like the proper fit and has 7 screws and the other has 4 but they fit the motherboard?
