Lian Li 216 Case Fans Not Lighting Up (ASUS Prime B450M-K) – Need Help!
Hey everyone,
I just replaced my old case with a Lian Li 216 case im new to PC building i replaced all parts successfully but I’m having trouble getting the RGB lighting on my case fans to turn on. The fans are spinning, but there’s no lighting at all.
My Setup: • Motherboard: ASUS Prime B450M-K • Case: Lian Li (has a built-in ARGB & Fan Hub) • Fans: Pre-installed ARGB fans from the case • Hub: The case comes with a fan & ARGB hub that connects all the fans in one place
What I’ve Checked So Far: 1. Fans are spinning, so they’re getting power. 2. The ARGB & Fan Hub is installed, and all the fans are plugged into it. 3. I don’t know if the hub is getting power—I’m not sure where it should be connected. 4. My motherboard does not have a 5V ARGB header, only a 12V RGB header. 5. There’s a cable from the hub labeled “ARGB”, but I’m not sure where it should go. 6. The case might have an RGB controller or button, but I’m not sure how it works.
Questions: • How do I power the ARGB hub properly? Should there be a SATA or Molex connection? • Since my motherboard doesn’t have a 5V ARGB header, is there any way to still get the RGB working? • Does anyone know if Lian Li cases come with a built-in ARGB controller that I should use instead of syncing with the motherboard? • Could I use a 12V to 5V ARGB adapter to make this work, or do I need an external controller?
Any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance!
