Status Not Available - it’s been 6 weeks

Has anyone had luck with receiving a passport that was never marked as in process on the status system? My daughters appt for a new passport was 6/13 and every time I’ve checked since then the status is “not available”

The money order I used to pay for the passport was cashed which is my only indication that maybe (just maybe) the passport application was actually received

Date of travel is 9/14. We paid for expedited processing
