Am I overthinking this..?

My 8 & 10 year old are both in elementary school and go to before and after care. For the past 3 days when I drop my kids off there’s a man sitting on the curb aand he’s still there when I pick them up in the evening. First day I didn’t think much of it just thought it odd. Second day (yesterday) I overheard a teacher tell another aftercare teacher that it’s a newer employees fiancé and they’re just “going through a lot and have stuff to talk through. “ As I was leaving the fiancé had gone out to talk to him so I thought maybe they’d talk and that would be the end of it. But he’s there again this morning. I drop my kids off at 8 am and pick them up at 530. I’m just getting bad vibes but I don’t know if I’m over reacting. Its 30 degrees and windy so it takes a lot of dedication to be sitting out there for so long maybe he leaves and comes back but again why? And he is sitting directly across from the door before/after care enters/exits. It’s giving unhinged to me. Maybe I’m just biased based on my own past DV issues so I don’t want to bring it up and look crazy.
