DWGM - episode 20 - Finally a VERY wholesome episode - ❤️🏡👫

It's good mainly for 2 scenes. And that's where they did it well, stuff pak dramas should do.

See this isn't funny and happy kind of stuff, so people who are looking for a fun ramadan episode which is totally understandable, but this isn't it. This was heavy and serious stuff.

1 ) The opening scene where teachers gather around to gossip about mj's apartment BECAUSE it's so realistic. The entire scene and convos. This sort of gossiping, realigning with a bad person(tamk) after a bad episode with them but for your own interests...it was so sooo real.

2) Dj and neighbour girl's convo. girl, her name is so weird to say, is it chano or shanno? Her convo with dj. But something was very confusing about that girl Chamo. I will ask about it later.

Okay, so firstly back to tamk. I always said I never got why tamk was always blamed for things, with ep 19 and 20 they atleast added scenes that made sense. I don't recall skipping any scenes before so I don't know why I didn't find tamk to be this toxic as her husband used to call her. Still I won't blame her for her brother leaving the home. Also, she was given a lot of comical touch in earlier episodes. I still don't find her more at fault in all that went by, it was durd who had put the cctv cameras, insulted her brother, it was such a satisfying bitchslap on her face when she tells ishtiaq, ab remove kardo cctv.

Btw when I wrote the 19th episode post, I hadn't watched 20, I just did a while back, and I had written that mj and tamk are a reflection of their mom and mamu sib relationship, it's interesting that in ep 20 dj also tells him something like this.

I honestly, think that tamk deserves greater share in school than mj because she and her husband gave a good portion of their lives to it. So, they definitely deserve more than mj, who for whatever his personal reasons he describes, never worked for the school.

I liked the dynamics shown here, how dard snatches the school from her brother and now her daughter wants it too.

Tamk has turned out be very vilest piece of work. I don't fully hate her, because she has her insecurities, she is shown to be infertile, ugly (acc to the show), her husband gets attracted to other women, she gave a good portion of her life to the school, so yes she has to be afraid with the fact that her mom would end up giving a good portion of it to her brother who never contributed.

Even in this drama I feel lot of tamk's valid fears are brushed off and mj is painted as more of a greater victim.

But despite all of tamk's real issues, she is a horrible person who might improve or maybe not.

Okay, now the part about Chammo telling dj about maids/domestic helps and their issues was so sad and real. I am adding a slice of it here, that scene was the heart of this show alongside the first one I mentioned.

Btw it was very confusing. Did someone get it when Chamo says, it's Shano of 605 who needs to go back home but when Mj comes, dj tells him Chammo who used to visit her home was the maid??? And she left for home?? What does this mean? Did I miss something or that was a blooper as usual? What was happening there?
