How do your SVT episodes feel like?
I had a tachycardia episode yesterday. I normally went out of my house for the clinic. I had to wait for the auto. While standing, I felt pauses in my heart beat, most probably like PVCs, auto reached and I had to cover a distance of about 10 minutes. That time, my legs were feeling weak, and had a weird sensation in my chest and throat as if there’s something that is not letting my heart beat in a regular rhythm. Upon reaching, I felt as if I will fall if I stand up. I went out of the auto, my legs weren’t able to hold me, I tried to stiff my muscles to hold myself up, anddd BOOOOMMMMMMM! My heart rate skyrocketed to maybe about 130+ bpm, I had tunnel vision, severe dizziness, and felt as if I am gonna faint. I sat inside the clinic, coughed, took some deep breaths, and it HR lowered. Since then, my chest wall, shoulders, neck and back is hurting like hell. Like a heavy load. I have gotten similar episodes like 4-5 times while sleeping, or bathing, and it brings the hell out of me.
24F here, probable POTS case labelled by EP, went there after getting holter, it didn’t caught such events, caught nocturnal AV block. Otherwise, a lot of doctors call it anxiety, because I have been to the ER and cardiologists multiple times post Covid for similar symptoms. But ECG always shows sinus tachycardia. But these episodes have never been caught on an ECG, as they get resolved before reaching the doctor.
I want your insights on the SVT vs sinus tachycardia experiences. Thanks in advance.
