I found out what was causing my controllers to disconnect, it may help some of you as well.

So a bit of back story I setup the headset and everything after I got off work on the 9th and it worked perfectly no issues. Well today I goto start setting up my room in EmuVR and my controllers keep disconnecting. I thought maybe it was just EmuVR acting up so I started messing around with SteamVR instead but they again kept disconnecting every minute or two. I went through all of the normal trouble shooting things and nothing was working, I was about to order a bluetooth adapter but then I had an epiphany, I had my wireless keyboard on my left side the other day and today I had it on my right side. I moved it and lo and behold I haven’t had any issues since! I can only theorize as to what was happening but maybe the signal from my Logitech wireless dongle was interfering with the bluetooth signal or something weird like that. Either way it fixed it for me and maybe it would help some of you as well.
