Is it normal to have a white glow/blur?

I’m not sure if it’s normal for the headset to have this white glow washout/blur at the edges. It’s obviously only there when there is something showing.

It did get a bit greasy when I first put it on (from my eyebrows) and I cleaned it with a micro fiber. Not sure if it’s the grease sitting at the edges, normal or a defect.
