PSA: If you recently bought a physical copy of Gran Turismo 7 for PS5, switch off the internet first and insert the disc. About 87GB of game will be installed from the disc (saving you time & data), once done, connect to the internet. It will download a much smaller patch and you’re ready to go!

This trick may apply to more games so definitely doesn’t hurt to try it every time. Far Cry 6 is another example of this.
